Message to Judges


Hello Judges! Firstly I would like to thank all of you for taking the time to take a look at our game today 'Dinky's Quest'. Our game is a 2-Dimentional, Adventure/ Action game.   You play as Dinky the dragon, after he has been pushed off a cliff by a greedy old man, and suffering horrible amnesia. You must adventure through the lands dinky once protected, and regain the knowledge you once had. This is where the habits/rituals come into play. Dinky must regain his habits, and fighting styles while he venture's through the land, slowly throughout the game he will regain more, and more of his fighting skills (Higher damage), and good habits for staying alive (More Health). Our team members consist of Aron Finn(me), Game Manager, Cutscene, and Title screen work. Timafe Hall, Hospital Hallway, lead in lighting. Spencer Sauer, Lead in Sound, and art. Ehlexi Hall, Dream World(Not currently implemented) lead in combat, and health system. We do not have a working death screen, or a respawn function so when you die you have to restart the game. Key features of the game consist of moving left, and right, and jumping. Attack system will be implemented in a later build(it is nearly finished). We also have a somewhat working xp/inventory system in the background currently being worked on.
