Iteration 5 & 6


Hi everyone! We're happy to announce that we have some more updates on our game Dinky's Quest. Our team has been working very hard to figure out a new lighting feature that we are implementing into our game. We have updated the lighting the cutscene, along with adding the Dinky character model at the edge of the cliff. He has a very minor idle animations that plays. One of our associates was gone today so we we're not able to implement the falling animation that Dinky will have. A lot of work has gone into the Hospital Wall scene. We have added a bunch of new lighting, and we are happy to announce that we have our first enemy!! The model consists of an ant, and he patrols back and forth before seeing you, and once you hit his vision he will chase you. We have our levels almost completely setup to where we can have our first outside level. Our team has also added a grass footstep noise coming from the old man that pushes Dinky off of the cliff. We're hoping by our next iteration we will have our combat system ready, and hopefully a boss fight.  We currently have a "Dream World" level being worked on in the background, it doesn't have great playable features so we are keeping it out of this build for now. Unfortunately we were unable to update the images/videos of any gameplay. Next week we will update all of our images, and some new videos of gameplay for our itch page. We hope that everyone enjoyed this update on our game. Please feel free to leave any comments on how we did or what we need to improve on.
