Devlog 3/26-28/25


Hello Players! I am Grizz aka Retro_Sunbear and I am one of the main artists for this game and today I will be updating you guys on the changes we have made the last 3 days and what we plan on adding very soon. 

Okay so here's what we've added so far.

  • UI with placeholders that will be replaced soon
  • Completing the basic frame of the tutorial level 
  • Made the player able to take damage (not shown in playable version just yet ) 
  • Player is able to slash 
  • Player house completed and other backgrounds and scene deco started
  • Add in players Idle animation 
  • NEARLY complete dialogue 

Thursday and today we focused on making the game look prettier with decor, polished up some behind the scenes stuff including the players attacks, and created some art for the new dialoge scripts we have created . 

Here is what we will be working on in the near future to add into our next build.

  • Complete the UI art and add it into the game ( Mask wheel, heart for lives, icons for abilities )
  • Start on more 2d decoration art 
  • Add in player jump and attack sprites with and without diff mask 
  • Add in art for mask abilities 
  • Created and add in textures for the floor and other platforms in the tutorial level 

This next week we plan on adding just the finishing touches to the tutorial level and then immediately get started on level one ....The water stage >:3
